I found this little chair at Goodwill yesterday for $2! Poor thing was covered in scratches, stains, etc. I felt bad about it just being tossed aside, so why not bring it home and give it new life, a new purpose.....

I painted it a color from Martha Stewart's collection, called Opal, this is my go-to white color. I love it....I will be painting quite a few pieces today and onto the weekend, including a little desk that will pair perfectly with this chair and I will turn the two into a little homework station for my son.
P.S. My counter space project for the kitchen has taken a bit longer to put up, it is built, just needs to be attached to the wall and the hubby has a two week vacation starting tomorrow, so fingers-crossed he will get to it and I can't wait to show you ladies! Have a fantastic weekend! Xoxoxo ~Ashley

  9. what a great find...there is something special about a piece of furniture/art in your home when it includes a bit of your own personal love and flavor.
